Magazine is the annual Mason-Rice Student Literary Magazine
Each year, the fourth and fifth grade classes, with help from parents, puts together a Literary Magazine. The children editors decide what the magazine will look like, will edit the content, and will help market and sell the magazine. NOTE that articles for the magazine are submitted by the students at Mason-Rice at ALL grade levels.
Details regarding volunteering to help edit the magazine, and making submissions to the magazine, will be published in the Mason-Rice Notes in the spring, and Literey Magazines will be sold prior to, and at the Spring Picnic. All submissions and questions can be sent to

Fifth Grade Graduation Activities The Fifth Grade Graduation Committee produces the yearbook; plans the graduation ceremony and the graduation party; produces slide shows, videos or other presentations of the graduating class; and selects a class gift. They also plan several small fundraisers to raise money for these activities (including the Election Day Bake Sale and the Spring Picnic).
Election Day Bake Sale. For the past few years, the fifth grade class has organized the Election Day Bake Sale as a fundraiser for its graduation actitivities. The fifth grade class, and their parents are responsible for cooking, collecting baked cooks for sale; wrapping the baked goods to make them attractive for sale; and manning the sale table on Election Day.
Fifth Grade Talent Show. An annual talent show will take place in February. Look for more information in the fall.
Spring School Picnic Every year, teh Fifth Grade Graduation Committee organizes sale of food and slushies to raise funds for their graduation activities. Look for orders forms in Notes in late May each year. Download Food Order Form here.
