PTO SEEKING CO-TREASURER FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR.

The PTO is looking for a volunteer for our Co-Treasurer position for next year. You would be responsible for depositing any checks or cash that the PTO receives; keeping a record of the money received; reconciling funds received with Committee Chairs and the other Co-Treasurer; participating in the budget process; and preparing year-end tax receipts for families who donate over $250 in a Calendar year.  The volunteer should be very comfortable with the use of Excel spreadsheets. This is a role where you can perform the duties on your own time.  Ideally, you should be available to attend the PTO's monthly Board Meetings, typically held in the mornings after drop off.  The role is a 2-year term.  You would work with our other co-Treasurer who is responsible for our financial statements and check disbursements.  Please contact the current Co-Treasurer, Kim Thurmond or any of the co-Presidents if you are interested or know someone who is. The training process would start in the spring.
