Kinder-Club
Kinder-Club is a 2 or 3 day PTO program, run by parent volunteers and 3rd/4th grade "buddy" volunteers, to welcome incoming kindergarteners to Mason-Rice. It includes a "Welcome to Mason-Rice" package, a crafts activity, book readings, tours of the school, and other activities designed to make our newest members of the school feel welcome and comfortable. 2012 Kinder-Club will be held Tuesday thru Wednesday, second week of March during Kindergarten Registration.  Check Mason-Rice Calendar for most up-to-date information. 

The Kindergarten Liasions. Each year, two parents of kindergarten children who also have older children at Mason-Rice volunteer to be Kindergarten Liasions.  Click Kindergarten to learn more.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  The Mason-Rice Afterschool Program is a safe, nurturing, fun environment for children.  By actively collaborating with families and school staff, we have built a supportive "neighborhood of the 21st Century" that meets the needs of an increasing number of students K through 5.  We are a  private, non-profit parent cooperative and have been serving the families of the Mason-Rice community since 1980.  MRASP is based at Mason-Rice and the Hut building.

Mason-Rice Ambassador. Each year, a parent volunteers to be the Mason-Rice Ambassador. This role is to reach out to new families and welcome them to the community and the PTO.  The Mason-Rice Ambassador will serve as a resource for new families so they can jump right into school, community and PTO activities.
