Mason-Rice Food Policy:
To create the safest possible learning environment for all children.  Our goal is to minimize the risks of accidental exposure to those allergens that pose a threat to students in our care, and educate students about life- threatening allergies.

Mason-Rice school maintains a "no sharing/no trading food’"policy, including eating utensils. Except in certain limited situations related to the class curriculum, food is not allowed for class celebrations including birthdays, holidays and the last day of school.  Parents are to be advised of any school activity that requires the use of food well in advance of the project or activity. In classes where children have peanut or nut allergies, the school requests that foods including those products not be brought into the classroom.
